Smith & Young Co. opened its doors in 1984 in Jacksonville, Florida.

We are a privately-held real estate development and investment company. Local, hands-on ownership means better construction, leasing, and property management. Our company’s focus has primarily been in rapidly growing Northeast Florida – Jacksonville, Orange Park, and St. Augustine, Florida.

During our over 40-year history, Smith & Young has developed a reputation for excellence in retail, office, and industrial real estate. We have the experience in house to effectively complete all phases of a real estate investment – including entitlement, development, construction, leasing, and property management.

Our current tenants range from local favorites (such as Santioni’s Italian Restaurant, Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute, and Yoga Den) to regional and national companies (such as University of Florida Health, Berkshire Hathaway, West Marine, State Farm, Dunkin’ Donuts, Verizon Wireless, and Papa Johns Pizza).
